We chose Mary Earps as our house captain because she was a Lioness who won the Euros and she won the Golden Glove in that tournament. Mary Earps is inspirational and resilient and never gives up. She campaigned to Nike to get her goalkeeper shirt released so fans could buy and wear it. She was determined to make football more accessible for girls and she showed perseverance in standing up for what she believed.
