Welcome to Springfield Stars Preschool. My Name is Vicki Knight and I took over as the new Owner / Managing Director in April 2022. I have worked within early years for 24 years. In June 2024 we had our Ofsted Inspection and we awarded ‘Good’.

I have a fantastic team of staff some have worked here at the preschool for over 12 years and others are parents of children who attended the pre-school and decided to train for early years , including myself, education and never left. Our team is made up of 8 fully qualified staff, including myself, who receive frequent training to keep up to date and we are all parents ourselves.

• We follow the stimulating EYFS framework.
• Equal Opportunities and Special Educational needs – Our aim is for no child, regardless of gender, religion, culture, health or special needs, will be excluded from Preschool. We have designated, qualified Special Educational Needs Co Ordinator (SENCO) and Equality Named Co-ordinators (ENCO) who take great pride in forming close relationships with parents, carers and their children.
• Our fantastic facilities include a large outside play area, part of which is set to artificial grass to allow all weather condition play; climbing and activity frames, mud kitchen, small vegetable/flower garden and a giant sand pit to name but a few!
