The Y4 children have create their very own Tanka poems. Once completed, they were able to hang them on the trees in the orchard like a Tanzaku to admire each others poems like they did in Japan during festivals....

The year 1 children looked at prehistoric cave paintings and discussed what they noticed about the images and what they think they might mean. The children then had a go at recreating their own 'cave paintings' out on the playground....
